Love is such a beautiful thing. Only God in His
vast wonder and almighty power could have created something so deep and significant, yet so extraordinary and tender. With love, He spoke the world into existence. With love, He created all the animals in the sea and on the land. With love, He created the first man and woman. And then... God so loved this world He created that He gave His only begotten son for the saving of it.
I have experienced many dark times in my life. Burdens have weighed me down so much, so that I felt, rather, I knew, I just couldn't go on.
However, It was during these times that I have
personally experienced God's magnificent gift of love.
The Holy Bible let's us know that in this world, we shall have tribulation. Now, I don't look forward to the tribulations, but I know who will hold me close and I know who will encourage. Yes...I know who will step in at my darkest hour and whisper....I love you.

God knows all things. There is nothing in heaven or earth that He is not aware of. He knows when the wild goats bring forth and when the hinds calve(Job 39:1).
There are times when the wonderment of His magnificence awes me. My human mind and emotions cannot begin to describe the depths of gratitude that I feel for Him who is my creator....my sustainer....my provider....my keeper....my lover....my friend....my God!
Jesus is my all and all! Without the absolute conviction of His presence, which is rooted and grounded deep within the crevices of my soul, I would not be able to go on from day to day. I would be as chaff in the wind.
When I talk to my Lord and Savior, I speak to a friend. Not some lofty, unattainable God, but a confidante who knows about all my fears and short comings, and who cares about every thought and desire of my heart and mind. I have no secrets where He is concerned. There are times when I am in His presence, that my love for Him overflows, but more importantly, I can feel His love as it overflows for me also. At such times, I am bathed in His precious oils and I am reminded of all the ways that His vast outpouring of affection has enriched my life; mentally, physically, spiritually and materially. I close my eyes and right there, in my mind, I envision His Face.
I peer deeply into His merciful, all-forgiving eyes, that are filled with nothing but unconditional love for this sinner, and I am led to kiss Him with the words; 'I love You'. However, I choose to say it in a different way.....an endearing, ridiculous way. I speak to Him in a way that only a friend could appreciate or understand. I simply ask a question that I know He already knows the answer to; I ask....Jesus...Did you know....?

The pace of the entire world is so fast these days, that one hardly takes the time to notice that God is always - silently - speaking to us. He is always endeavoring to get our attentiion thus, through the observation of nature, our minds can be drawn to Him. When we learn to appreciate nature, we learn to appreciate the Creator of nature.
One of the ways that my Creator specifically gets my attention is through the beauty of flowers. Every time I see a flower, I am reminded of Jesus. I am not a botanist by any means, and except for the most common every day variety of flowers, that every one knows, I can't tell one from the other. However, I am always captivated by the vast variety of colors, shapes, sizes and smells that are able to expel the gloominess of a sick room, enhance the beauty of bare spaces and represents love and caring at weddings, on Valentine's Day and other special occasions.
Flowers remind me of the wonder of God...it reveals Him as the unsurpassed Master Painter and Designer. And were they not created just for that purpose? Certainly, there are many that have great medicinal value, but the rose, the carnation, the pansie, the tulip, etc., were primarily created for no other reason than to give us pleasure. To me, they are a love gift from the very hands of God and I have come to appreciate the Gift Giver. When I look at a beautiful flower, I don't just see the flower....I see Jesus!
